Growth is not merely a harmonious increase in size, but a transformation.
– Dr. Maria Montessori

Thanks so much to all who enrolled in the 2020 Lottery and a special thanks to those who helped out. We had 180  applicants! Within that  group there are 14 languages other than English spoken and the hail from 23 different towns. This year’s Lottery Official was Shanita Williams, Southern New Hampshire University’s Associate Vice President of Talent Engagement and Inclusion. The Lottery was staffed by our Executive Director, Project Manager, Office Manager and one of our Upper Elementary Assistant Teachers.

The COVID-19 health emergency required that we hold the 2020 Lottery remotely. Today, we gathered via Zoom technology – each member of the Lottery Team worked in their own homes, and our guests joined from their homes.

We used a randomizing number selecting app to ‘pull’ the lottery numbers of each family who enrolled in the 2020 Lottery at our March 25th event. As per our Lottery Procedures, those who were awarded a spot in the Lottery were notified as soon as the event was completed; those who did not receive a spot, will receive written notification of their child’s enrollment status on the wait list in the days following the Lottery.

The Lottery generated a wait list at every grade. The Kindergarten wait list for next year is a new wait list. All other wait lists generated by this year’s Lottery, live below the existing wait lists generated from previous lotteries. Please note, those on the wait list are now in our system, and need not apply in future lotteries with the same child.

Below are photographs of the results of this year’s Lottery:

Kindergarten Wait List Generated by the 2020 Lottery:

Currently, there are no available spots in grades 1-6 for the 2020/21 School Year, so the 2020 Lottery generated wait lists at each of those grades which now live below the existing wait lists for these grades (i.e. wait lists generated in previous lotteries). Please be aware that spots can open at any time during the year. Here are the results from the 2020 Lottery for our Lower and Upper Elementary Programs – Grades 1-6:
