Sharing Our Strength & Then Some!
We began the week on Monday morning, with our annual All-School Service Learning event at the NH Food Bank. We went over in groups of three which included students from ALL three of our program levels – grades K-6 – and worked together to pack up 29 full cases which contain a total of 6264 servings of nutritious Mac & Cheese!
It seems fair to say, the kids rocked it! The children were orderly and efficient and got the job done. They proved that they are skilled in such hands-on projects. We are so proud of the work they accomplished by working so well together. Photos from the morning appear below. A HUGE shout out to the folks at the NH Food Bank who hosted us, and make it possible for our students do this meaningful work each year.
The week also included a trip to the Seacoast Science Center by our entire Lower Elementary Program, rehearsals for our upcoming – and first ever – MFCS Talent Show which is next Friday, May 18th; prep for the upcoming Upper Elementary Dance on May 25th; and final preparation for tonight’s Game Night which begins at 5:30pm.
