Has Spring Really Sprung?
Our sincere thanks to the many families who shared delicious lunch items for this week’s Professional Development Day. Our minds were well nourished as we worked together first in a staff meeting which included discussions related to our ongoing strategic planning, and then we staff separated into program levels for important collaborative time. Your kindness is so appreciated and deeply felt!
Amidst the work underway this week, we have also been managing the transition here at 100 William Loeb Drive. We learned late last week that, Making Connections Charter School – MC2 – would open their doors to students this week. That did not provide much time for us to organize. We quickly reached out to you explaining the new drop off and pickup plan and have had staff out daily to help guide everything through the process. Additionally, we have worked very closely every day with the MC2 leadership and staff to discuss how things are going, suggest possible improvements and we have found them to be very willing partners.
